Lower Knapp Farm in East Devon belongs to the Holiday Property Bond. The countryside is pretty hilly -
the access road to the property descends one in three. This means to get out is also 1 in 3 so even
a gentle cross country walk is quite demanding. But with no time constraints we
did what a failing heart will do - and humoured it with frequent rests.
Numbers were well down this year but Timothy, Zuzana, Simon, Anita, Lucy, Max, Stella, Pat and Paul
all enjoyed themselves and each other. It was the first long journey both for driver Pat and her new car. Didn't she
do well?
The car (or Pat's brand new car - see the number plate); Knapp Farm games room
and Pat painting the sea at Budleigh Salterton.
Special treats on Simon's birthday - at base camp and at Killerton
(a NT property)
A day out at Bicton plus viewing the place of a new stone that Max placed
in Exeter Cathedral - and tea for some of the older ones overlooking the Cathedral.
